Mythical beasts at the Down – see match report.

Congratulations to Andrew Fowler on scoring 10,000 runs for the club.

Welcome to the homepage of Hadlow Down & Moulsecoomb Wanderers Cricket Club

We are a friendly team that has been playing all over Sussex for over 50 years. In the 2009 season we embarked on our first league season, finishing runners-up inĀ East Sussex League division 9, winning division 8 in the 2010 season, and within a whisker of winning division 7 this season. We continue to play friendly cricket on Sunday afternoons at some of the most picturesque grounds in the county.

Team Huddle

And a fine bunch of well-drilled, team-oriented athletes we all are...

Our home pitch is currently at Hadlow Down, near Buxted, though we will begin to play at the BACA site during the 2011 season. Winter nets will be held at BACA from 2012.

We are always on the lookout for players at any standard. Come along just to practice or we will get you a game. Please use our contact form and someone will be in touch.

We are currently working with BACA and the SCB to develop youth cricket in the Moulsecoomb area: read more about that here.

OUTDOOR NETS! Finally arrived … every wednesday 6.00-8pm at BACA, in Moulsecoomb. Details here.

IMPORTANT NEWS – HD&MWCC EGM approves the foundation of a new club based at Brighton Aldridge Community Academy. More details to follow.
